Surah Ar-Rahman takes its name from the surah's opening words: "It is Ar-Rahman (the Lord of Mercy) who taught the Qur'an. He created man and taught him to communicate". Surah Ar-Rahman is a majestic surah, breath-taking in its vivid imagery and striking in its reminders. All of creation is in obedience and worship of Allah. We could never measure the mercy and blessings of Allah. Most significantly, this surah clearly demonstrates that Allah sending the Qur'an is a manifestation of His Divine Mercy and Favour to mankind.
